Tour Program Vietnam Essential 9 Days

DAY 1: Departure to Viet Nam

DAY 2: Arrival – Hanoi (D)
Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver at the airport. Transfer to the city center of Hanoi. Check-in and room assignment. Departure to explore Hanoi, the political capital of unified Vietnam. Visit the Temple of Literature and the Old Quarter, take an introductory cyclo ride to get to know this ancient city with its peaceful lakes, the historic district of 36 streets, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Lake of the Returned Sword, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Temple), and the Silk Street. 
Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 3: Hanoi - Ha Long (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel, check out hotel then drive to Halong Bay (approx. 2.5hour drive) with rest stop on way.
Around 11:30: Arrive in Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf. Transfer to Halong Boat by tender.
Welcome drink on the boat and check in to your private cabin.
Serve have lunch on board while cruising to some magnificent Halong bay scenes. Titop island where you take your time on swim, sunbath, trekking....
Arrive in Pearl Farm Village. Visit around and swim, kayaking(optional, pay on guest account) in the bay.
Back to the cruise and join cooking class to have experience in some traditional dishes. Tea time on sundeck.
Time for dinner and evening entertainments: bar, spa, squid fishing and overnight on the cruise.
*Remarks:
+ In the occasion of bad weather conditions, e.g. high winds, monsoons, thunderstorms, cyclones, storms, etc., the management board has the authority to cancel all cruises to guarantee the safety of tourists. Should this happen, accommodation will be at Ha Long City Hotel instead.
+ Due to cruising conditions, itineraries may change without prior notice. Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant/bar area, but internet connectivity is limited due to the geography of the bay. Thank you for your understanding.

DAY 4: Ha Long Bay - Danang Flight - HOI AN (B/Brunch)
06:00: Practice Tai Chi lesson on the Sundeck.
Start your day with a light breakfast. During breakfast, cruising to explore other part of Halong Bay, admire the beauty of one in seven new wonder in the world. Arrive in Surprise cave, explore the Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long bay.
Check out and take all luggage outside of your cabin, cruise back to the Tourist Wharf through Ha Long bay. Have brunch and clear bills.
11.00 am Disembark then go to the airport. 
Flight to Danang, upon arrive, transfer to Hoi An. Check in hotel.
Dinner by your own arrangement & Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 5: Hoi An Ancient Town (B/L)
In the morning, have breakfast at hotel. 
Thenproceed to Hoi An (this is a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years). 
Upon arrival, enjoy a walking trip through out the ancient town. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridge (close for renovation), Phuc Kien Assembly, Trieu Chau Assembly house, 200 years old Tan Ky House and Musuem of Trade Ceramics, Quan Cong Temple may have a chance to enjoy the traditional music performances in the house.
Lunch at local restaurant then back to hotel.

Overnight in Hoi An. 

DAY 6: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)
Enjoy breakfast at hotel and depart for Da Nang Airport for the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Depart to Cu Chi Tunnels (approx. 2hours drive)
Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (optional) 
Return to Ho Chi Minh. Check in hotel. 
Dinner by guest arrangement.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 7 : Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta Cai Be or Ben Tre (B/L)
After brakfast, we will have a  full day is dedicated to exploring the vast Mekong Delta and its tributaries.
From the center of Saigon, it will take about two hours to reach the heart of the Mekong Delta. Along the way, you can already admire the scenery and the life of farmers, huts, houses, and scattered tombs in the emerald green of palm trees and rice fields, as well as farmers tending to fruit trees, etc. Upon arrival at the Great River (Cai Be), you'll embark on a river excursion to experience the typical life of people living along the riverbanks and on the river itself. The boat exploration includes a visit to the floating market of Cai Be, a rice cake factory, the craftsmanship of puffed rice, and before lunch, a rowboat ride into the narrowest branches of the great river and a tasting of fresh seasonal fruits. Lunch on-site and return to Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 8 : HCM City - Return Flight to Italy (B/L)
After breakfast, check out hotel then spend half a day visiting the most significant points of Ho Chi Minh City, War Museum, Photo-stop at Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral (Renovation period), Old Post Office
Lunch at local restaurant.    `
After lunch, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Italy.
