The local guide take you to visit Ho Chi Minh City tour. We start the trip by these famous places: Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. (Drop you off at Ben Thanh Market for shopping, if we have enough time). Afternoon, leave Ho Chi Minh for Cu Chi. Arrival at Cu Chi tunnel, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh city, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”. Go back to the city. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

The local guide take you to enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On the way to My Tho, stop to to see the rice fields, take photographs and to discuss with the local farmers. After that continue the tour .

Arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh, a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Have a short cycling tour (if we have enough time) then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese Folk Music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Back to hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

The local guide take you to enjoy the Hanoi city tour. Start with the visit of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and continue to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam, dating back to the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty (544 - 548), it is one of the best pagoda in Vietnam ). Then visit Bat Trang pottery village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at a local restaurant.

PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters. and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. in the end, journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration.

Breakfast at hotel then drive to Halong Bay (approx. 2.5 -3.0-hour drive) with rest stop on way.

12:15 Guests are transferred by speedboat/tender from Indochina Sails’s Tuan

Chau Pier to Indochine Cruise - enjoy welcome drink, listen cruise briefing and

safety instructions.

13:15-14:00 Passengers enjoy the International Buffet Lunch.

Massage service is available after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book

in advance with your Cruise Manager.

14:45-16:30 We arrive at a quiet area Lan Ha Bay. Passengers take the quick transfer by speedboat Cat Ba Island and we do short

excursion to Viet Hai village where we take a stroll around the idyllic enclave

and see the fabulously rustic homes of the locals. We then take our bicycles or

electric car onto village paths and head into some of the lush greenery for

which Cat Ba Island is known.

17:30 Depart and sail to anchor overnight.

18:30-19:00 Attend the Cooking Demonstration led by our Head Chef. During the

lesson, the chef showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional

Vietnamese foods.

19:30 Set Menu Dinner is served.

20:45 Evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available, as

well as massage service (massage service is available throughout the cruise).

Also, everyone can try their luck at Squid fishing on the boat with help from the

crew.

*Remarks:

+ In the occasion of bad weather conditions, e.g., high winds, monsoons, thunderstorms, cyclones, storms, etc., the management board has the authority to cancel all cruises to guarantee the safety of tourists. Should this happen, accommodation will be at Ha Long City Hotel instead.

07:15-08:30 The crew take passengers visit the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) grotto is not only known for the stunning limestone structure at

every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is doing kayaking or bamboo sampan drive by local people through the tunnel so you will spend mostly your time relaxing and enjoy the quiet and natural place

(This is the UNESCO Heritage site and also the nature reserve area of Cat Ba National Park)

09:00 Return to the Indochine Cruise. Guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins

and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins.

09:30 Enjoy the breakfast buffet in the dining room, consisting of both Vietnamese and international dishes. Bills are settled after breakfast. We approach the harbour while we cruise, giving you the opportunity to soak up the last of the magical atmosphere of Lan Ha from the sundeck.

11:15 Arrive at Indochina Sails’s Pier at Tuan Chau Port.

Disembark then return to Hanoi.

Farewell dinner will be in Hanoi – private room with 03 cultural performance & a keyboard
