ITB Asia 2026: Meet Dong DMC in Singapore, 21–23 Oct

Trade Shows · ITB Asia 2026

Dong DMC will be at ITB Asia 2026 in Singapore from 21 to 23 October, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. We are attending as trade visitors, not exhibitors, so every hour goes to pre-booked partner meetings with founder Mickey (Dong Hoang Thinh). To book a time, email md@dongdmc.com with the subject "ITB Asia 2026".

This page covers how to book a time, who the meetings are for, and what to bring so the follow-up quote moves quickly.

Why meetings instead of a booth

A stand is useful for being found. A seated meeting is useful for working through a real program. Most of the partners we want to see already know what they are planning for 2027: an incentive date, a series to rebuild, a new source market to test. Thirty quiet minutes over coffee covers more of that than ten minutes on a busy show floor.

Who the meetings are for

  • Travel agencies and tour operators sending groups to Vietnam and Cambodia
  • Incentive houses and MICE planners with a 2027 program in view
  • Partners combining Vietnam with Cambodia, Thailand or the Philippines on one contract — Thailand and the Philippines are delivered through vetted local partners, with one quote and one point of escalation

Agencies in Singapore and Malaysia can read the market specifics first on our Singapore & Malaysia desk.

What to bring to a 30-minute meeting

A meeting ends with a usable brief only if a few facts are on the table. These are the ones that change the price and the routing most:

  1. Source market and nationality mix. Entry rules differ by passport. Visa-free days and e-visa terms for 35 markets are on our Vietnam entry and flight facts page.
  2. Group size range and room split. Hotel options and coach size depend on it.
  3. Travel window and how flexible it is. Season decides weather, hotel availability and which venues can be held.
  4. Program type. Leisure group, incentive, conference, series or a combination.
  5. Budget per person per day, or a total. A range is enough to choose the right hotel tier.
  6. The moments that must work. A gala night, a CSR activity, a team-building day, a VIP arrival.
  7. Decision date and who signs off. This sets how long hotel and venue space needs to be held.

What happens after the meeting

  • The brief is logged in our partner system and assigned to a named specialist.
  • During business hours (Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 GMT+7) a named specialist responds within 60 minutes. MICE and incentive programs are quoted to a deadline we state when we acknowledge the brief.
  • Quotes are at net rates. You set the selling price and keep the margin.
  • Delivery is white-label: travellers deal only with your agency, and the program runs under your brand at every touchpoint.
  • During live delivery, a 24/7 regional ops hotline is open.

For scale: Dong DMC runs 50–70 group programs per month for 800+ travel partners across 20+ source markets. How the workflow runs from brief to confirmation is set out on How We Work With Partners, and anonymised delivery examples are in Case References.

Questions partners usually ask at trade shows

Do you sell directly to travellers?

No. Travellers deal only with their own agency or tour operator. If a traveller contacts us directly, we refer them back to the agency that sent them.

Which destinations do you operate directly?

Vietnam and Cambodia. Thailand and the Philippines are delivered through vetted local partners, inside one contract with Dong DMC.

Can we discuss incentive and MICE programs at the meeting?

Yes. Background reading before the meeting: Vietnam Incentive Travel and Vietnam MICE & Corporate Events.

What if we cannot meet in Singapore?

Send the same brief by email or through our contact page. The response standard is the same.

Book a time at ITB Asia 2026. Send your company, source market and two or three time slots between 21 and 23 October. We confirm the time and the meeting place in Singapore by reply.
